What is Tabs?
Tabs is a design library that helps product teams discover and learn from African digital products. We collect screenshots of apps and websites across the continent, organised by industries, user flows, features, and components, so you can see how real-life products solve design challenges.
Who is Tabs for?
Tabs is for designers, product managers, engineers, and founders building digital products in or for Africa. Whether you’re researching payment flows, onboarding patterns, or checkout experiences, Tabs shows you how successful African products handle these.
How is Tabs different from Mobbin or other design libraries?
While Mobbin and others focuses on global products, Tabs specifically showcases African digital products. We understand the unique contexts like, bandwidth considerations, integrations, and UX patterns that make African product design distinct. We want everyone to be able to learn from how different products are solving for them.
How do you source your content?
We work with content curators supported by our in-house team to capture and categorise screenshots from apps and websites serving African markets. Our curators ensure the library stays current with the latest products and design patterns across the continent.
Can I contribute screenshots to Tabs?
Yes! We’re always looking for curators to help grow our library. If you love exploring apps and spotting great design, you can apply to become a curator. We offer stipends for quality submissions and give curators premium access to Tabs. Email us at [email protected] to learn more.
